On the LineTomorrow evening is range night. Weather permitting, we will gather at the outdoor range in Cedarville at 5:15 pm for that familiar sound and  smell of burning gunpowder. Wether your interest is target practice, NRA qualifications, or just pure fun, please come out and join us for an enjoyable evening.

Range Night


IMG_1882Tomorrow evening, July 10, 2014 is our scheduled range time at 5:15 pm in Cedarville. Last range night we had 13 members and 3 guests in attendance. The weather was near perfect and all had a great time of target practice. Some members shot qualifying targets towards their next NRA marksmanship rank.

Basic Handgun Class for Women

15 - CopyW.A.F.E. (Women Active in Firearms Education), a program exclusively by women for women, would like to invite women interested in the shooting sports and self-defense to join them for a class in Basic Handgun Instruction on Saturday, July 26.  Class begins at 8:00 am and will run for 12 hours.

Those who successfully complete the class receive a certificate that qualifies them for the Ohio Concealed-Carry permit. This CCW Class is based on the NRA’s Basic Pistol Course, and is taught by NRA Certified Basics Pistol Instructor, Alissa Detrick.

Topics included in this 12 hour course are:

    • Firearm Safety
    • Pistol Types and Operation
    • Cartridge Identification and Malfunctions
    • Proper Shooting Technique
    • And much, much more!

This course complies with the regulations set forth by the State of Ohio, and is valid for Ohio Concealed Handgun License Training.  Students who successfully complete this course will receive 2 certificates.  The first is a certificate from the NRA for the completion of their Basic Pistol Course and the second is a certificate issued by Olde English Outfitters, which allows the student to apply for an Ohio Concealed Handgun License.
