Brown Bag Seminars Begin

We have started our “Brown Bag Lunch” seminars for the year.  Kicking off our first presentation was Tara Engel from Olde English Outfitters.  Tara presented an overview of “So, you want to give (or get) a gun for Christmas?” She brought in several examples for the seminar, so that a wide variety could be shown and then she presented what would be best depending  on what it would be used for (pleasure shooting, competitive home defense, concealed carry).

She gave the participants much to think about as many stayed after the seminar to ask several questions and gather more information.

Indoor Range Nights Begin

With the colder weather fast approaching, the Cedarville Marksmanship Club began their indoor range times until Spring.  Our first indoor night seemed to be a rifle night.  As we are usually practicing with the pistols, it seemed that most wanted to get some rifle time in.

Please feel free to join us on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of every month.  If you would like more information on this, please feel free to contact us at: (937) 766-3443 or cedarvillemarksmanship@gmail.com.

Fall Pheasant Hunt

After the Hunt

Saturday morning was crisp and clear as 11 sportsmen headed out for the First Fall Pheasant Hunt sponsored by The Cedarville Marksmanship Club and Buckeye Pheasant Farms.

With guides and dogs leading the way, the sportsmen had the opportunity to hunt, most “bagging” several birds.  After the hunt everyone got the chance to sit down, share together and enjoy pheasant stew for lunch.
Michael Engel went on the hunt with his mother Tara as part of his 19th birthday celebration and had a great time, getting 4 birds for the day.
Thanks goes to Buckeye Pheasant Farms and to Doug Atkins for putting together a great time.
